Cecilie M. Brænd Hekneby has as of February 1st 2024, started in the position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Spir Group. The appointment was announced on December 15th. 2023.
Hekneby joins Spir Group from the position as CFO at Self Storage Group, a position she has held for seven years. Before this, Hekneby was Finance Manager in Selvaag Self-Storage, Group Controller in Color Line and Project Manager and Financial Controller in Posten Norge.
“I have followed Spir Group from the outside for a while, and I’m eager to get started at the company. Spir Group has unique position in attractive niches in Norway and Sweden and has a huge potential. With the company’s mission critical software solutions for the public sector, real estate and property industries, Spir Group plays an important role in society,” said Hekneby.
Hekneby holds a Master’s degree from Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
