The Norwegian online real estate platform Virdi has changed its name to Hjemla. The company made the decision to rebrand as part of its new venture within Spir Group ASA, to better reflect its core values and mission. The change took place on April 13th 2023.
Hjemla, which translates to "homey" in Norwegian, was chosen for its simplicity, positivity, and ability to work in multiple countries. The name also has roots in the idea of having a home and the right to own something.
- We´re really excited about this shift. Now we´re able to offer an even better service for our existing users, and we´re rigged to attract a lot of new ones, says Michael Wiik, Product owner at Hjemla.
While the rebranding will bring some changes, such as new website colors, fonts, and logos, the company assures its users and customers that they still will receive the same excellent service and support they have come to expect.
Some features have been replaced by new ones to provide a more streamlined and efficient experience. In addition, some key features from Boligmappa have been implemented. All information about Norwegian properties has been transferred to the new website, and anyone who wants to check it out can now create a new account.
Hjemla is excited about this new beginning and plans to use it as a platform to build a better and more dynamic real estate service. With the support of its users, customers and team, Hjemla aims at continuing growing and providing valuable services to people searching for everything about all homes in Norway.
With a new name and revitalized mission, Hjemla is poised to make an even bigger impact in the years to come. So, head over to Hjemla.no and check out their new look and features!
